The only outfits I seem to be showing lately are my worst ones!
Me in my sweaty gym gear...lovely
Since you are here, I may as well tell you the outfit that I am sporting today, which is basically identical to my last gym OOTD (on Saturday)
and this is the weirdest shaped photo ever because I took it at an angle
because I was in a rush and then I had to crop out my garish yellow
walls and it all just got a bit crazy!
Hair- up in a bun
Sports bra- Forever 21
'A' top because my name begins with an 'A'! How lucky is that! from New Look about 2 years ago (I like to wear old tops to the gym because once a top is deemed a 'gym top' I never wear it on normal 'non gym' days again!)
Joggers from TK Maxx
Un-fancy plain ol' trainers
and some jazzy socks because gosh darn it's cold walking there!
I didn't get to take a snap but I wore my Harajuku pale blue zip up for the journey there which does not match the navy sleeves on my top- but who cares! The zip up had cartoon cats on it after all!

Thighs, tums and WHAT!??
Monday, 3 December 2012
I'd had a long day of learning, including my mandarin listening exam which was not so bad after all, those things never are.
I got home and emptied my shopping into the fridge, I always look like a nutcase because of the amount of milk I get through (about three cartons a week) I drink the sweetened soya milk, it's just the best! But when it's all lined up in my fridge at the moment I have eight cartons in my fridge I look a little bit loopy loo...
Then I decided to go onto legs, bums and tums which is a type of workout class that makes your muscles burn, and your legs shake and your arms ache but it was actually pretty good, although It was an impulse decision so I went with a face of makeup (I always think it's silly when girls go to the gym in makeup, and now I am one of them!) and in a crinkly top that I didn't have time to iron.
But now I'm tucked up in my pjs with my jar of nutella wathcing Ugly Betty.
A video will emerge on Thursday explaining the true extent of my nutella addiction...

It's gym time!

It's the new academic year, which means new memberships to all kinds of delights, the most financially testing however is the gym membership- awooo
Insert obviously horrible membership photograph here:
It's as though these machines have no choice but to make you look hideous.
Take a vote, which picture was worse... This year or last years?
After forking out my arm and leg for membership fees, I needed to buy some new gym clothes that would be appropriate, aswell as trainers. Then I remembered Forever 21 to the rescue! The gym clothes there were so cheap I nearly did cartwheels in the shop, a pair of cropped yoga trousers for £4.50?! Yes please
I also got a sports bra which had a less amazing price of £10 or so, but then I decided that's one area of gym kit you shouldn't skimp on, aswell as shoes.
And I'm good to gooooooooooooooooooooooo!

While I'm still at my sisters we decided that perhaps it wasn't such a smart idea to nap in the sunshine and eat profiteroles all day every day and found within ourselves raw motivation to take part in a Zumba workout class on the hottest day of the year! It was 30 degrees celcius!
I'd never been to a Zumba class before but my sister had convinced me that it was a lot of fun, and she was right!
I wasn't prepared for working out so didn't bring any work out gear but managed to scramble together some old trainers, black, light joggers and a tie dye Athens top that looks like it's from the 80s!
See, I bet you never knew I was so stylish and I bet I've become your new go-to person for gym fashion!
Luckily, I wasn't the only one that didn't look like I had jogged into the class straight off Hollywoods sidewalks and the class was 60 minutes of sweaty fun!
It's difficult to exactly explain what Zumba is, but the closest thing I can link it to is an aerobics class, but a little more 'dance-ish'
We did about 15 different routines, some were fast and others slow, and what was great was the amount of fun that was involved. In a standard aerobics class every move you do you are very aware that it's to burn calories and tone up but in Zumba much of the dance moves just feel like they are a part of the routine to make it that much more fun!
So all in all I give Zumba classes two sweaty thumbs up (and boy was I sweaty) I would recommend it especially to those who aren't use to gym classes but love to dance dance dance!
Here's a little clip that will show you what a class is like and below a link to classes near you worldwide!
