Twinkle toes!

I have to share with you one of the greatest purchases of the year....

My beautiful glittery Ted Baker bow pumps!
I've had my eye on the Ted Baker bow footwear for a while, I liked the bright sandals a lot, so when I spotted these sweet delights in TK Maxx for half the retail price I couldn't resist!

Look at the cute box they came in, it's design is like a sweet shop or something!

I've worn them already even though my feet froze (it's snowing here) but it was worth it, and they are a rubbery material so they do not feel like they need to be worn in like other shoes.
Hooray for spotting a bargain!

Best Foot Foward

So I'd been in need of some 'slouchy' trainer type shoesies for a while, for times when pumps are not appropriate and you need something a little more sturdy, but for times when also your jogging shoes would look completely ridiculous!

Well, I give myself a clothing problem, so I give myself the cutest solution... so may I present to you...

My NEW Hello Kitty Vans!
I got them from the store Schuh, they sell them in white too, but in white the Hello Kitties were not coloured in all fun and bright.

Also, I'm glad I didn't get white because I have only worn these bad boys once and they already look a little grubby!
I wish I'd taken a picture of them fresh from the box!

Which reminds me... aside from having new shoes, isn't the 'new shoe smell' the best part of having them!! Or is that just me??

Summer Wedding Heel Solution

If you are going to a summer wedding on a lawn or about to be a summer bride and the balls of your feet ache at the thought of leaning on them to try and avoid the dreaded heel-lawn-sink then the solution has been found in http://www.heelsabove.com/

They have recieved a bit of stick for looking tacky, but I was at a wedding a few Saturdays ago and I really could have done with these, and for any following heel-events. Plus if you think they really look that bad, then maybe you could just wear them for lawn photos and things, then remove them.

A way to maybe try and trick yourself into thinking that they are pretty is that they remind me of the base of champagne flutes, or decorate the base with a circle of little stick on gems or something!
Let me know if you think these are a great idea or horribly tacky!

Crazy, beautiful shoesies

I'm not a plain pumps kind of person, I like shoes covered in junk, glitter, stuffed animals, whacky prints, things stuck onto the laces etc, that's why when watching the movie The Sitter (which isn't all that great if I'm honest) there's a guy who can roll around on roller skates so wonderfully that I realised that's what I'd love to do! Roll around on roller skates rather than walk anyway, it's so much more fun and you'll get places in double quick time!

The one small problem might be that there's no real flat area where I can practice and not get laughed at for falling over (which I'm sure I will, a lot, at first at least, and maybe several more times after that) also, I couldn't wear them at home because there is so many stairs, though perhaps I could wheel through the corridoors.

I've been looking for some covered in sequins and lights that flash when the wheels roll, but I wonder if I might be being too specific...
So far I've found these cute ones:

They're so sweet like candy floss! and they look pretty comfy, plus I love that they're called a 'Disco skate' I wonder if there's any roller discos near me...
