I just thought I'd share with you some new eyeshadows that I got, they are by the brand Fashionista who I have spoken about before (and how I don't like the brand name) and I used their shadows in my Valentines Day makeup tutorial and really enjoyed using their products, so on my search for some new cotton candy pastel shades I ended up back at their stand.
This is what I came home with:
The light pink colour is called Sweet Kiss, the dark pink is called Bliss
The sparkly green is called Meadows and the blue is called Cool Blue
Swatches on my inner arm, I love how bright Bliss and Cool Blue come out, Sweet Kiss seems to have a lot of fall out and was tricky to build up on my arm
This picture summarises why I chose thoses colours, when you blend Sweet Kiss with Bliss and Cool Blue with Meadows, you get these perfect cotton candy shades!

Pretty Pastel Nails
Saturday, 14 July 2012
I treated myself to a new set of acrylic nails, and when the lady asked me what I wanted I said a ranbow! Then I specified pastel, and I was so delighted with the results!
All the polishes were OPI but as for names... I really don't know, I'm usually much more of a Barry M nail polish wearer.
They make me feel so happy to look at, it's like having ice cream dripping from my finger tips!
I think they'll chip off pretty soon though, I'm quite tough on my hands.
The colours make my pastel rings looks so much cuter, and I love the way that the acrylic makes the nail look thick, does that make sense? It makes them look more yummy and plastic-fantastic!

Minty-Melt-at-the-knees Makeup Day!
Tuesday, 3 July 2012
This was me today!
Using my delights from Madison street Beauty a vegan makeup brand from etsy.com
I use the same colours as in my mermaid makeup tutorial which you can read here except I maximised the amount of shade Mermaid used to give a more 'blue hue' rather than green and used less of the Sea Foam which is more of a greenish colour.
I made the lips a whole lot paler than I usually do to fit with the whole 'pastel' I was going for. I used Lovelorn lipstick from MAC and dabbed on with my finger over my lips a white eyeshadow, if you do it super lightly and then press your lips together it looks like a new and updated lipstick shade!
On my legs are minty jeans from H&M and top is years old something like four maybe even five years old from a Next outlet store!
Me likey when fashion comes back around and you still have your clothing from the first rotation of it!

Just call me Babysitter!
Sunday, 1 July 2012
What cool crazy and wild-child things do I get up to on a Sunday?
Babysitting is the answer!
It was not crazy, or particularly cool and was actually kind of dull!
I think I prefer babysitting when the baby is in bed, because then it's more just a case of 'sitting' haha!
Here's a little looky at my babysitting attire and (lack of) makeup!
Cupcake bag! It's from ebay but it's for kiddies hence the eeny weeny size of it
My favourite mint jeans from H&M and white matching pumps from Next
Pink Slush Puppy hoodie from truffleshuffle.com but it really old so I don't know if they sell it anymore but maybe someone is selling one on ebay!
Living it up on a Sunday woop woop!

Pastels- NEXT!
Friday, 29 June 2012
I love and adore the pastels thing going on this Spring, it's pretty rare that I ever jump into a fashion trend head first as fashion dates so fast, but pastel colours are just completely irresistable to me and before I know it I have a whole pastel rainbow going on!
So here's my pastel favourites from my wardrobe
Pink pastel skinny jeans from Next £18
...and they were soo comfy I got the lilac from there too, same price
Mint ones (my personal favourite) are more super-skinny and the best colour! from H&M they were a present from my sister so I don't know the price!
Polka dot mint blouse from Next, also kids section priced at around £16-£18 I can't remember!
Black shoesies are not very -fresh- so I go for white pumps the same kinda colour as this shirt collar
I got a mint scarf it came from Brick Lane market and cost something like 50p! Wee!
To top it all off.. a vanilla cake bag! Yum

Stars in my eyes!
Friday, 20 April 2012
Galaxy and space prints have been popular for a while now.
What's great about them is that lot's of the colours in the galaxy and outer space are pastel coloured which makes them bang on trend for this Spring, but the mixture of silky fabrics and inky blues for the night sky dress up pastel colours to stop them looking too innocent and day time and to jazzle it up a little!
Here's my favourite galaxy products:
If you're snazzy with a sewing machine you can craft something beautiful from this, I kind of fancy a fabric cuff from this beautiful stuff! Available from here

These leggings are so fun and delicious! They're from Blackmilkclothing.com, Black Milk sells amazing clothing but it's pretty much all the stuff of dreams for me so I just browse and drool!
This top is so fun and perfect with some casual shorts and little booties andd... it's much more purse friendly at £9.95 from here good ol' eBay!
If you're not into the colours in galaxy prints then maybe these are your thing, they sure are mine!
Mostly because they GLOW IN THE DARK!

These would be so fun on a night out, and it's a sure way to have everyone looking at your pegs!

Orr..... if you hate everything here and think stars belong in the sky and not on clothes then you just might love love love one of my favourite Apps to date 'Star Walk'
It's incredibly beautiful, and it shows you the stars above you, it gives you facts and incredible 'pictures of the day' from our universe; minus the complex language and scary astronomy chat.
It's relaxing to look at before I fall asleep. It makes me feel a lot of wonderment and is grounding to realise how immensely huge the universe is; it's a comfort not to worry about the little things and let them deal with themselves in a world as big as ours.
P.S Remember tomorrow is Earth Day and Origins are giving away free products! Check my post on April 1st for more details!
Ice cream in your eye!
Friday, 13 April 2012
Here's a breakdown of a look I've been wearing a lot for daytime-Springtime
I call it my 'ice cream' look!
This is how it goes:
1. I cut the crease on my eye with a deep berry purple and blend this onto the lid.
2. I dab the inner half of my eye with a cotton candy pink
3. I dab the outer corner with a lilac and bend them together to make a nice gradient
4. I use a sweet yellow Vanilla colour on my browbone
5. I use chcocolate brown pencil liner on the top lashes and bring it down to the bottom a little way
6. Finish with some black mascara
For the rest of the face:
Bare Escentuals foundation- it's light, doesnt sweat off and has SPF
A pink blush on the apples of my cheeks
Sunkissed bronzing powder in the hollows of my cheeks

Spring/Summer nail polish
Friday, 30 March 2012
As the weather gets a little warmer and we all wear our sandals and flip flops, it's more important than ever that toesies get polished up like our nails.
Pastel colours (think lavendars, mint greens, butter yellows) are all
IN IN IN!
and even if you're not much of a 'nail trend' person (I'm not, I jsut buy what catches my eye)
no one can say no to these delicious colours!
I just want to pour them on my ice cream!
YUM-A-DE-DOO
P.S if you buy them from boots they are 3 for the price of 2! Yay!

Clouds of mint green
Wednesday, 8 February 2012
I am very excited that pastel colours are deemed the 'in' colours of this and next season. I've always had a huge love for that pastel mint colour, a kind of bluey-green that is just delicious to look at but findig clothes in such a specific colour is not always so easy, until now!
I came across this jacket which I am just drooling over
I love the stud detail, and the colour is just so perfect! I found it on Pinterest, so where it came from will probably be forever a mystery!
I love this mint satchel

Although I put my bags through their paces so I imagine the suede would get grubby pretty quickly
and finally, what I love the most are these mint jeans, which unfortunately look as though they've sold out, which is too bad as I imagine these to look perfect with some crisp white shoes!

Sweet peppermint dreams! And do you like the pastel trend?
