Happy 4th of July!

It's not really a day fo anything in England, it's a day like any other day and I used the time to film a video this week I'll give you a sneak preview tomorrow!
But for today, I have fireworks for you! Oddly enough there were fireworks today, but in honour of a school nearby having a prom, but we can pretend that they are for the 4th of July, so if you didn't get to see any fireworks today, you can see a glimpse of the ones that I saw from my bedroom window, but be warned the camera on my phone is borderline horrific so these pictures do not do the magical glittery show before my eyes any justice

New Years Eve!

We are having a wild New Years Eve here...

At around dinner time we got into our PJs, ate an Indian takeout, planned to make fresh candyfloss on my candyfloss macine but then decided that it was much easier to just eat fresh chocolate Brownies instead.

Then, through some dreadful twist of fate I was convinced to watch Dawn of the Dead until the New Years countdown, which is slowly creeping upon us. Then, we're going to watch the dazzling fireworks in London... from our Tv which is not in London, I will probably be wearing a onesie, so I will spare you pictures of my super fabulous and glamorous outfit of the day!

Wherever you are this New Years Eve, I hope that you are having the most wonderful time, and are able to reflect on 2012 knowing that it was a truly amazing year and you have grown and become a better person for it, even with the hardships and knocks.

Catching Fireworks

Did you see any fireworks tonight?
These were the ones from my window, I just leaned on the ledge and filmed them, then cut out the boring parts and just kept in the most amazing and beautiful ones.

The best part? I got to be all snug in my jammies while watching a beautiful light dance in front of me

I was far enough away to have an amazing view, and not to get deafened by the bangs but close enough to see every fleck and burst of colour crystal clear.

If for whatever reason, you couldn't get out to see a firework display tonight on Bonfire night then I hope that you enjoy this and feel like you are right there watching too!

　

Unlike other fireworks that dissolve away into the night never to be seen again, these are caught forever and will re-glitter and re-burst into colour over and over again!
