The Hot Chocolate of Dreams

How to make the perfect hot chocolate!

1.Fill your chosen mug up with cold milk
2. Put 2 scoopfuls of the hot chocolate powder into a little saucepan
3. Pour a little of the cold milk into the saucepan and mix to make a paste while the pan is on a medium heat
4.Add the remaining milk to the saucepan
5.Mix until it is warmed through
6.Pour into a mug
7.Froth the hot chocolate with a milk frother or just top with whipped cream
8. Grate some chocolate to make real chocolate sprinkles or failing that just sprinkle some chocolate powder

Keepin' it Cute

I'm too used to wearing my ankle boots, nice as they are I decided to switch around, and I totally forgot that I had these beauties hidden away in a shoe box at the bottom of my wardrobe

My Hello Kitty vans!!

The craziest part is that I'm wearing Hello Kitty socks too... (crazy or tragic)

I paired them with my inky blue jeans with a little roll up on the bottom, and a navy blue jumper!
They're suuuper comfy, like walking on clouds in comparison with heavy boots.
Ah, if only it was getting warmer so I could wear these all the time, but realistically it just rains and soaks through the material.
Ah well

How I became an extra in Avatar

It is common knowledge to the people who know me well that Avatar is one of my favorite films ever ever (I can't deem it my #1 favorite because I have lots of favorites!) So when I spotted this sweet gem for £1 I had to get it, and I have to say I think clear, plastic cord necklaces will be a new trend in ...2040...maybe! Here I am wearing mine with pride on a day-to-day basis

It may just be the best £1 that ever was spent!!

Sundae on Sunday

How likely is that to ever ever happen!?
Not that likely, but today I actually ate what may have been the worlds greatest ice cream sundae and I ate it on a Sunday!
We headed to the handmade burger company after the cinema (which I'll write about another day as It will be a long-un) and I ordered the lamb and mint burger which was suuuuper good, it had all delicious mint sauce that was just dreamy, it reminded me of the roast dinners that I would usually eat at home on Sundays, but it's too much work for just me to make when I'm not at home. I wish I'd taken a picture of it because they just make fast food burgers look like limp lifeless flatbread in comparison.
But I did get a dessert which was amazing, I think that they are a new addition to the menu, I chose the Banoffee pie flavour which had real pieces of banana in it. I can't do enough description that will do it justice, there would be random clumps of the buttery sweet biscuit base and piles of cream and ice cream and ooodles of caramel. Next to mine is the brownie and waffle version which was good but I think that mine was better! Just typing about it it making me too hungry to sleep so I'll just leave you with a picture and probably a sugar craving!
I have such a sweet tooth I just can't help it!

it's 2am and if that isn't video editing dedication, I don't know what is!
I will be busy travelling home tomorrow (technically today but I haven't slept yet) and I won't be bringing my computer with me!
So I thought I'd get the video uploaded tonight.
It's another empties, those are always fun to do because it's like a haul and a review all in one!
This one used up a lot of products that had drips and drabs in them, that I had left at home but I got to use up when I came home for Christmas

Pool RAVE

Alright, so I overdid it yesterday... there's no denying that!
But I'm starting on the road to recovery today with a swim!

Swimming costume courtesy a la my sister for Christmas, it's Slazenger, and makes me feel like a super athletic swimmer, before Christmas I was wearing my jazzy bikini to the pool which wasn't very practical at all

And I love how they always make me feel like I am going to an exclusive rave party every time I go to the pool because to prove that you have paid you get to wear one of these:

And by 'get to' I mean have to, otherwise they might kick you out the pool!
It's a blue paper wristband that somehow doesn't get ruined in water, it's the kind of thing you might get at a nightclub.
Unfortunately no raves for me, an early night as I head back home tomorrow for a hen party! (no, not my sisters)

OH HELLA LOTTA NUTELLA

I thought it would be a good idea to buy Nutella in bulk- economies of scale and all that.
I started off with the little jars, the tiny 200g that would last me about a week ( I eat it with a spoon) I got through my first jar so quickly that I moved up to the next size, the 500g jar which lasted me a little longer... then
I saw the mother of the jars

the 700g
and then something just came over me.. and I ate about 500g all in one day and now I'm paying for it, I have a raging migraine probably from a complete sugar overload that my body just isn't used to, plus I now can't stand the sight of Nutella... the thought of eating another spoon is like thinking of eating a tablespoon of butter or ketchup... just ugh

So that's how I killed Nutella... or how Nutella killed me, I'm not sure.

Japanese Dinner!

It's about that time again where I go out for something to eat with my friend from school who moved to the same city as I did!
I recommended that we eat at the same Japanese place that I went to a few weeks back in December, and it was so delicious that I blogged about it, and here I am blogging about it again!

I even ordered the same thing... I know, not very imaginative but I knew I loved it and I had craved it a few times since.
This is what I worse, I suppose this seemed appropriate attire!

 I wore my birthday part tee! I love it, it's from a shop on ebay and has presents and balloons and cake on it!
Along with my rock and republic trousers that are made from a black stretchy fabric, these are from TK Maxx and have lasted foreverrrrrrrrrrrrr, on my feet I have my pink stripy socks, I guess I'd forgotten to put on my shoes- but I swear I did wear some!

Makeup is a whole mish-mash from the Naked 2 palette, I can never remember what I've used, I just go into a bit of a colour daze and use everything that I like

 A close up of my feather earring that I like because a part of it looks like a feather hair extension! I love the cool blue colour part, this has lasted me over a year I think and made it through the treacherous windy weather that blew my hair every which way the minute I left!

Now I am too full up on sticky rice to move! Ooopsy

Pumping Iron! OOTD

The only outfits I seem to be showing lately are my worst ones!

Since you are here, I may as well tell you the outfit that I am sporting today, which is basically identical to my last gym OOTD (on Saturday)
and this is the weirdest shaped photo ever because I took it at an angle because I was in a rush and then I had to crop out my garish yellow walls and it all just got a bit crazy!

'A' top because my name begins with an 'A'! How lucky is that! from New Look about 2 years ago (I like to wear old tops to the gym because once a top is deemed a 'gym top' I never wear it on normal 'non gym' days again!)

and some jazzy socks because gosh darn it's cold walking there!
I didn't get to take a snap but I wore my Harajuku pale blue zip up for the journey there which does not match the navy sleeves on my top- but who cares! The zip up had cartoon cats on it after all!
